Nine Sidney High School students received Outstanding Performer honors at 2024 Class B-6 District Play Production Contest
Nine Sidney High School students received Outstanding Performer at the 2024 Class B-6 District Play Production contest. The competition was held on December 4th at Sidney High School. The Outstanding Performers for Sidney were Kennedy Hobson, Faith Frye, Raven Dinorog, Raven Lee, Scarlett Curry, Laurel Dadgostar, Kyah Kicks, Zoey Gorman and Jasper Gulbranson.
Sidney High School’s One Act performance piece was called “The Actors Games,” a parody based on "The Hunger Games." But in “The Actors Games,” the tributes (contestants) are competing to become stars. Sidney’s One Act team is coached by Tanya Lewis.
The final standings of the competition were
Ogallala High School with first place, Cozad High School with second place, Chadron High School with third place, Chase County High School with fourth place, Sidney High School with fifth place, Gering High School with sixth place, Alliance High School with seventh place, and eighth place, McCook.
