Auburn plans 'a hometown Christmas'

AUBURN - Auburn is planning a hometown Christmas Nov. 21-23.


The tree lighting is Thursday, Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. with hot cocoa, roving carolers and kids visit with Santa.

The reindeer dash is at the Auburn adult city recreation center at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 22.

Saturday events include the Nemaha Valley Museum, hayrack rides, living nativity, story time with Mrs. Claus, and soup supper at the Eagles Club.

The lighted parade on Courthouse Avenue is at 5:30 p.m.

The holiday market is scheduled at the senior center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The Auburn Berean Church will host a Christmas music concert at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8. The concert features a Nemaha County community choir and the Heartland Christian Collaborative Youth Choir.
