SYRACUSE - The Syracuse City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. on Nov. 13 in the city hall chambers located at 495 Midland St.

The agenda includes the treasurer’s report from city CPA Todd Blume, Schemmer Architecture's conceptual study for a new fire station and re-allocation of ARPA funds.

Schemmer’s study is broken down into phases.  The total conceptual design service cost will be $45,800.  Schemmer also attached its hourly rate fees for total conception, if awarded the project.

The Fire and Rescue squad will be asking the city council for approval to reallocate ARPA funds.

Tim Wilson of the Syracuse Rescue Squad will be giving an update and asking for the approval of a new squad member.

Olsson Engineering services has submitted a proposal to the city of Syracuse for approval to continue as the street superintendent and Justin Stark the engineer-on-call. Olsson's contract expires in December.

Steve Rogge, project manager for Van Kirk contracting, has submitted a change order regarding the north water loop. The change would decrease the pipe size from 2” to 1-inch in the area of Syracuse Area Health. The change order will decrease costs by $75,300.

In new business, the Tannenbaum committee will be asking for approval for Fifth Street closure from Plum Street to Mohawk Street on Tuesday Dec. 3, from 3 to 7 p.m. This street closure will include north to Sixth Street on Thorne and Midland streets.

Antes Family Hardware received a permit to replace the front facade of Antes Hardware, 350 Fifth St.

Kellie Bassinger received a remodeling permit for her existing residence located at 680 Fifth St.
