FALLS CITY, NE - Auburn came into Jug Brown Stadium to take on the Falls City Tigers on Friday night and showed why they're at #9 in the NCN Football Rankings with a dominant 45-0 road win.

Things went the Bulldogs' way right out of the gate on the opening kickoff where a miscommunication caused Falls
City to start at their own 19-yard line. It went from bad to worse as the first play from scrimmage saw the Tigers fumble it away to the Bulldogs. Auburn's Brant Gulizia then took it 19 yards to the house on the team's first play from scrimmage to make it 7-0 Bulldogs.

Falls City wasn't able to get anything going on their second drive and Auburn took over in Falls City territory from the 49-yard line. Then, it was Gulizia again, first with a 20-yard rip and capping it with a 19-yard TD tote for a 14-0 lead.

Gulizia led Auburn with 185 rushing yards, two rushing TD's and a receiving score. Nixon Ligouri threw for a pair of scores & ran for one, but also got picked off twice by the Tigers' Orion Cattrell. Lance Binder led the Auburn defense with a number of tackles, and the squad held Falls City to just seven rushing yards for the game, unofficially.

Auburn moved to 5-1 on the season with the victory, while Falls City slips to 4-2. The Tigers will look to rebound next week at home against Syracuse, while the Bulldogs host Fairbury.
