NEBRASKA CITY – H&R Block Nebraska City delivered what the Pioneer Pantry hopes is a school-year supply of personal care products to the Pioneer Pantry at the Nebraska City Middle School on Wednesday.

Nebraska City Middle School Counselor Katie Meredith said Mothers Undoing Nebraska Childhood Hunger (M.U.N.C.H) has provided food items for the pantry for over a decade, but there is also a need for personal care items. The school provided H&R Block with a wish list and the company raised $2,700 with fundraisers over the past two years.

Nicole Wigington, new owner of the Nebraska City location, said she and her staff are glad to be a part of the Pioneer Pantry and its mission to make sure students in need are not turned away.

Over 70 toothbrushes and toothpaste were donated by Nebraska City dentists.
