NEBRASKA CITY - We asked Artificial Intelligence to create an itinerary for Nebraska City.

AI CoTravel says visit Arbor Lodge and the Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, as well as the Museum of Firefighting and Steinhart Park.

AI was confused when asked about nightlife. It suggested that we enjoy the Missouri River Distillery, which does not exist in Nebraska City. AI also offered nothing specific under the categories of music or natural parks.

A pancake feed at the fire station and Applejack Fun Run beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

 

Flea market and craft shows are planned at Central Avenue, middle school, Ramold’s Pumpkin Ridge, Arbor Crossing and Eagles Club. Helicopter rides at Arbor Crossing and Bull Riding tour at Hidden Falls.

Omaha Street Percussion is at Arbor Day Tree Adventure, water barrel fights after the parade and the USS Nebraska Submarine crew at Little Ted’s Pub & Grill.

There's live music at Kimmel Orchard Sunday afternoon.

Tatting: The Work of a Little Boat is at the Wildwood Historic Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Civil War Museum will present Lincoln’s Balloon Spies from noon to 4 p.m.. Artifacts will be on display.

The Heritage Needlework Guild quilt and needlework show from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bethel Church.

The carnival opens from 5 to 11 p.m. with $25 wristbands.

The Nebraska City Extreme Bull Riding Tour is at Hidden Falls Cabins and RV Park. Gates open at 5 p.m. Live music by Switchback.

The Morton-James Public Library is hosting a Harry Potter party from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
