Probation search, pickup theft in Nemaha County

AUBURN – Two new possession charges have been filed in Nemaha County court.

A sheriff’s office affidavit says deputies assisted state probation with a search of an H Street apartment. The affidavit says methamphetamine was found. Wood told investigators that the methamphetamine belonged to a visitor.
Tanner Zerfass, 27, of Lincoln is charged with possession of a deadly weapon, attempted theft and possession of illegal drugs on Aug. 22.
A Nemaha County sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a 726 Road residence for a suspicious vehicle. An arrest affidavit says a combat knife was found, as well as methamphetamine.
