FALLS CITY – Tammy Spargo, 51, of Arkansas City, Kan., is charged with possession and habitual criminal on Aug. 30.

An affidavit says Spargo stopped her Chevrolet Impala on Highway 73 where a deputy had another vehicle pulled over. A second deputy pulled in behind Spargo, who told the deputy  the two vehicles were traveling together.

The deputy says methamphetamine was found in the Impala. The habitual criminal charge alleges convictions in 1998 and 2003 that resulted in prison sentences.

A special prosecutor has been assigned to the case against Jeffrey White, 60, of Sabetha, Kan.

White is suspected of possession of methamphetamine on Aug. 18. An arrest affidavit says White had a warrant out of Otoe County when he was stopped on Highway 75. The affidavit says methamphetamine was found in the center console vehicle. Angelo Ligouri was appointed to prosecute.

Dennis Shafer, 49, of Falls City is charged with possession on Aug. 29.

 

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says deputies were dispatched for a disturbance at a Chase Street apartment. Shafer denied possession of a tube with meth residue. A sheriff’s deputy says he had a straw with meth residue in his pocket.

 

 

Kaelin Criqui, 22, of Melvern, Kan., is charged with a short rifle and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on Aug. 21.

A deputy sheriff told the court he found an AR style rifle in a camping bag in the back seat of a pickup truck while Criqui  had a prior conviction for unlawful use of a weapon and is currently on probation out of Topeka, Kan.

Rebecca Robertson, 50, of White Cloud, Kan., is charged with possession of methamphetamine on Aug. 24.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says a deputy issued a warning for speeding on a Highway 159 traffic stop and received permission to search a Chevrolet Silverado. The affidavit says a scale with meth residue was found in her purse.
