FALLS CITY - Superintendent Tim Heckenlively announced the Falls City Education Foundation Annual Outstanding Educator of the Year Award during the opening session of the Falls City Public Schools pre-service on Monday, Aug. 12.

The recipient of this year’s award, Skylar Kreifels, consistently demonstrates unwavering dedication, innovative spirit, and a genuine care for our school community, all of which make her a perfect fit for this honor.

As a former Falls City Public graduate, many educators had a hand in helping Skylar succeed as an outstanding student. Now, a handful of years later, she is returning the favor and supporting all of us. In her role as Technology Director, Mrs. Skylar Kreifels consistently exceeds expectations, ensuring that Falls City Public Schools remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

 Her efforts have significantly enriched the learning environment, empowering both students and faculty members alike. Whether it’s tackling complex technical issues, implementing cutting-edge software solutions, or pioneering digital initiatives, she consistently demonstrates diligence and proficiency.

While Skylar supports students with a technology-related challenge or offers guidance to fellow staff members, her kindness and professionalism leave a mark on the ones she works with.
