Here is a letter from the food pantry committee

To the Citizens of Nebraska City:

Thank you so much for the continued support to the Nebraska City Food Pantry. It is gifts such as these that keep this pantry open.

The Channel 10-11 Can Care-a-Van was very successful as we received over 16,000 lbs. for the local pantry. This number includes monetary as well as product donations.

A special thank  you to the local pantry volunteers as well as the Fareway Store, Dollar Fresh the EMTs of Nebraska City and volunteers from the American National Bank and the EDGE program.

These donations will be used to continue the weekend food back pack program at the Nebraska City elementary schools as well as keep our pantry shelves well stocked.

Thanks again, Nebraska City, for your generous donations. All donations will stay local.
