NEBRASKA CITY - The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., has included portions of River Country in the risk for tornadic activity today.
The level 3 risk area includes extreme southeast Nebraska, northeast Kansas, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri where a warm front is attempting to push northward into Iowa.
The forecast says “daytime heating” will aid in instability by mid-afternoon and could support a few tornadoes and isolated hail.
