Firefighters organized controlled burn

NEBRASKA CITY - Firefighters organized a controlled burn Sunday at 13th Avenue and 11th Street.

County records say the property, including the house built in 1875, was purchased by Nebrara Orchard in 2023.

 

 

It was 82 degrees Sunday with a forecast high of 91 degrees and humidity above 50 percent.

A heat advisory begins at 1 p.m.  Monday and continues through 7 a.m. Tuesday. Heat index values of 100 to 110 are expected.
