BROWNVILLE  – The Brownville Village Theatre’s 57th season opens Friday and runs through Aug. 11.

One of Nebraska’s oldest repertory theatres, the Brownville Village Theatre is a true repertory theatre, rehearsing and performing shows simultaneously, and never performing the same show back-to-back.

This summer, the season includes:

  • Between The Lines
  • The 39 Steps
  • Drinking Habits
  • The Shining Lives
  • Tuck Everlasting

The season includes a musical, mystery farce, comedy, historical drama and family adventure.

Between The Lines opens the season on Friday, June 7.

Company Members this year, under the direction of Mitch Bean and Rachel Curtiss. Returnees include Joshua Bennett (2022-2024), Abigail Martin (2023-2024), Bella Walker (2022-2024), and Brennan Wright (2022-2024). Newcomers include Cullen Asbery, Cole Buzbee, Jack Danter, Rachel Grossman, B Herring, Otto Lieder, Ellie Parish, and Victoria Reyes.
