Police investigate high school fight that led to stabbing in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha Police are investigating a fight that resulted in the stabbing of a student at Central High School this morning.

According to OPD Public Information Officer Chris Gordon, authorities received a call for a stabbing on school grounds around 7:32 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly apprehended the suspect and took her to the police station to be interviewed. The victim was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for an injury to her ear.

At this time, it is not known what weapon was used during the fight. The two students reportedly involved are around 15 and 16 years old.
