Thunderstorm warnings in River Country
NEBRASKA CITY - A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Otoe County until 7 p.m.
The public reported 60 mph winds west of Hickman.
VALLEY - Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee and Richardson counties are in a severe thunderstorm watch will 2 a.m. Monday.
The watch includes Fremont and Page counties in Iowa and five counties in southeast Nebraska.
At 7:19 p.m., radar located a severe thunderstorm near Nemaha, 10 miles southeast of Auburn. The warned area includes Indian Cave State park and Interstate 29 near Rock Port, Watson and Phelps City.
The weather service says the possibility of hail in the storm cell at Rock Port at 100 percent.
7:57 p.m. – Severe thunderstorm warning for northeast Atchison County in NW Missouri.
Located near Tarkio moving NE at 35 mph. 60 mph wind and quarter-sized hail are possible threats.
8:05 p.m. - Trained spotter reports 70 mph wind in Morris County, Kan.. Emergency manager reports flooding in McPherson County, Kan.

The Storm Prediction Center at Norman, Okla., indicates moderate chance of tornadic activity in central Kansas today extending up to border of southeast Nebraska.
On Monday, the tornado risk is not higher than 2 percent for Kansas through Michigan. Thunderstorm chances are in the slight category for River Country.
