NEBRASKA CITY – River Country election results from 2020 primary compared to Tuesday show a down tick for Donald Trump's appeal among Republicans.

In 2020, Trump was favored by over 87 percent of the Republican voters in Pawnee, Cass and Richardson counties, but did not better 83 percent on Tuesday.

 

He was most popular in Pawnee County, 83 percent, Richardson County, 82 percent and Cass County, where his 3,399 votes were 80 percent of Republican votes cast.

Otoe County Republicans favored Trump by 76 percent, which is among the lowest in the state.

Statewide Trump received 80 percent of the Republican votes.

He received more than 90 percent of the vote in Antelope County, Chase County, Grant County, Hayes County, Hooker County, Keya Paha County, Logan County, McPherson County, Morrill County, Rock County, Sheridan county, Stanton County, Wheeler County.

He received 72 percent of the Republican vote in Lancaster County and 75 percent in Douglas  County.

Among rural counties, Otoe County is the lowest.
