NEBRASKA CITY -  City officials are planning a test of outdoor warning sirens on Wednesday, May 8, at 10 a.m.

Sirens were sounded during the Arbor Day weekend due to a storm, but two sirens did not operate correctly. The city is troubleshooting to find the cause.

If there are cloudy skies Wednesday the city will reschedule the test.

The outdoor warning sirens are normally tested at 10 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month.
