NORMAN, OKLA. - The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla., has its highest level of risk for storms today 300 miles from River Country to Oklahoma.

Portions of River Country remain in the enhanced risk area, primarily for wind hazards in the late afternoon.

The forecast Monday morning had a 30 percent chance of winds gusts up to 50 knots and a 10 percent chance of winds at 65 knots or greater.

A knot is 1.15 mph, so 50 knots is 57.5 mph.

The probability of hail is  10 to 15 percent for most of River Country. With a 10 percent chance of hail 2” or more. The risk of tornado is 5 percent.
