NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City police report a pedestrian accident on Fourth Corso involving a three-year-old child on March 21.

A police report says the child was struck while running across the street 100 feet west of the 18th Street intersection.

A Ford Fusion left a skid mark of 21 feet. The police report says the child was transported to CHI Health St. Mary’s and then children’s hospital with injuries to the head and neck.

Police also report a pedestrian accident March 15 at the Fareway parking lot.

Police say a woman was knocked to the ground by a car making a turn in the parking lot in front of the grocery store.
