Johnson-Brock & Auburn Boys Basketball Teams Returning to State Title Contests

LINCOLN, NE - Friday morning, two River Country boys basketball teams punched their tickets to State Championship games in Lincoln.
At the Bob Devaney Sports Center, Johnson-Brock shot lights out from downtown, canning 13/26 from three-point land in a dominant victory over Plainview, 72-36, in Class D1. The Eagles saw Casen Dalinghaus hit for a career-high 28 points, while Camden Dalinghaus was close behind with 24. JB out-scored Plainview by at least seven points in every quarter. The Eagles will put their undefeated season on the line Saturday morning at 9am when they clash with Ainsworth on Today's Best Country, B103.
At Pinnacle Bank Arena, Auburn held on for a 43-32 win over Ashland-Greenwood in a rematch of the last two Class C1 Championship games. The win puts the Bulldogs into the title bout for a sixth-straight season. Maverick Binder led Auburn to the win with 13 points. Auburn draws Wahoo in the title contest Saturday morning at 11a on Today's Best Country, B103.
