ADAMS, NE - The Lourdes Central Catholic girls basketball team extended its season with a 48-40 victory over Weeping Water on Tuesday night at Freeman High School. The Knights held a three-point lead at halftime, 17-14, before WW closed it to a 28-27 margin heading into the fourth. A strong final frame of 20-13 sealed the win for LCC. Jenna Box led the Knights with 16 points, while teammate Mikena Haag dropped in ten. Weeping Water saw Kalison Miller hit for 15, and Ella Cave sink a dozen. The Knights advance to face Freeman on Thursday night at 6:30p on Otoe County Country 1600AM/105.5FM & B103.FM. Freeman eliminated Johnson County Central in the first game of the night, 50-25.
