AUBURN, NE - The Bulldogs & Rockets split a Tuesday night doubleheader as the Syracuse girls pulled away for a 46-36 win, and the Auburn boys remained unbeaten with a 75-50 performance.

In the first game, Syracuse built a 7-point lead at halftime and held on for the 10-point win, 46-36. Kadyn Sisco was a workhorse for Syracuse, dropping in 27 points! Auburn got eight points apiece for Sydney Binder & Zoe Baltensperger. The Rockets are now 11-7 on the season, while the Bulldogs sit at 10-10.

The boys' game saw Auburn jump ahead 20-9 after the opening quarter, but Syracuse won the second frame to make it 40-30 at the break. That 10-point lead doubled to 20 going into the fourth quarter, however, as Auburn continued to show why it's ranked #1 in Class C1 in the latest NCN Poll. The Bulldogs got 27 points from Mav Binder & 16 from Brenton Wenzl, as each hit four 3-pointers. Cam Leslie was also in double-digits with a dozen. The Rockets' Maxwell Parde led his team with 16, while teammate Brennan Schroeder sunk eleven. Auburn is now 15-0, while Syracuse drops to 9-10.
