Library hosts Katharine Bruce exhibit
Artist creating collection in Nebraska City
NEBRASKA CITY – The Morton-James Public Library is hosting Art is Evolution, an exhibit by contemporary visual artist Katharine Bruce, through Feb. 28.
Bruce is creating new works by painting live on and off through the month in the Kimmel Gallery at the library.
Bruce grew up on the Canadian prairies and earned art degrees in Boston and Manitoba, Canada.
She is currently creating a collection in Nebraska City, calling it an ongoing exploration of subconscious energy using the tools of her craft, love of materials and inspiration from life and nature.
The gallery is open during regular library hours.
