TECUMSEH – An inmate at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institute is charged in Johnson County with assault on Aug. 13.

A complaint filed in the county court says Javier Delgado, 36, is accused of wounding a staff sergeant.

Delgado is serving a three to seven-year sentence for possession with intent to distribute in Seward County. He is eligible for parole on Feb. 28.

In 2021, a Seward County deputy found what was described as $50,000 worth of meth during a traffic stop along Interstate 80 in four, one-pound bags.
