WEEPING WATER, NE - Weeping Water and Lourdes Central Catholic split a Monday doubleheader that was a make-up of a scheduled two-fer from last Thursday. In the opener, the Weeping Water ladies grabbed a 53-40 win, while the Lourdes CC guys followed with a narrow 37-34 win.

Game one saw the girls' squads battle to a tight 24-21 halftime score with the hosts up a bucket. A solid 19-8 third quarter put Weeping Water on top to stay. The host team had a very balanced attack. WW was led by the thirteen points of Brinkley McAdams, but three of her teammates each scored ten points - Kallie Brack, Kalison Miller, and Ella Cave. Miller led the team with eight rebounds. LCC got thirteen points from Jenna Box, while Ava Osborn notched a dozen. Lourdes CC fell to 6-4 on the season, while Weeping Water bumped up to 9-5.

In the second contest, Lourdes CC hit 4/11 from 3-point land to slip past Weeping Water, 37-34. Trevor Tesarek sunk fourteen points, while Brady Schnitzer added eleven in the win. LCC moved its record to 3-6 on the season, while Weeping Water slid to .500 at 6-6.
