NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska county courts filed 3,311 cases on behalf of Nebraska Game and Parks outside of Douglas County in 2023 including 120 cases in River Country.

Ages for those ticketed range from 19 to 100. There were 12 people cited who were born before 1950.

A 100-year-old man was fined $25 for unlawful park entry. The Omaha man was cited in Cass County at the Louisville State Recreation Area.

An 82-year-old Amherst man was fined $100 for no life jacket at Sherman Reservoir.

A 74-year-old Weeping Water man was cited for deer regulation violation on Nov. 19. He was hunting in Blue Southeast Unit with a Wahoo permit.

A 72-year-old Peru man was fined $25 for a boating violation at Kirkman’s Cove because a nine-year-old was not wearing a flotation device.

A 64-year-old Nebraska City man fined $25 unlawful park entry.

Cass County had 56 violations, Otoe County 20, Nemaha County 18 and Richardson County 16. There were also violations in Johnson and Pawnee counties.
