Nebraska 511 reports Highway 2 snow covered from Lincoln to Syracuse. Highway 50 from Tecumseh to Ashland.

NEBRASKA CITY  - The Nebraska City Airport reported  a thunderstorm on Dec. 24 at 5:55 a.m. and fog, rain or light rain for about 26 hours until 7:35 on Christmas morning, when light snow was reported.

Streets in Nebraska City remained wet at 8 a.m., but Plattsmouth road workers reported   that snow is starting to accumulate on bridges.

Temperatures are hovering at 32 degrees Christmas morning at Nebraska City.
