City looking for answers to odor's return
City administrator hoping to meet with Cargill
NEBRASKA CITY - City Administrator Perry Mader told Nebraska City commissioners Monday that he is reaching out to Cargill Value Added Meats about an odor in town.
He said phone calls have been exchanged over the past couple of weeks and he is hoping a meeting can be set to see what can be done.
Mader: “I don’t know all the history, but I know enough to smell it recently and other people have to. We want to kind of get to the bottom of what is going on.
“If there is something we can assist with or they can do to alleviate some of those problems."
