NEBRASKA CITY - The winners of the four categories in Nebraska City Tourism & Commerce’s annual Deck the Halls Christmas Decorating Contest have been determined.

The contest, sponsored by Lifetime Vision Center of Nebraska City and Little Ted’s Pub & Grill, is designed to encourage homeowners and local businesses to decorate for the holidays.

Best Commercial - Shelter Insurance 719 Central

Classic Christmas - entry to Meyer House, 2649 Park Road

 

 

Most creative – Stoner residence, 1120 third Corso

Clark Giswold Award -  Walters house 1200 11th Ave.

 

 

 

The Best Commercial entry is Shelter Insurance Watkins Agency (719 Central Avenue). The Classic Christmas entry is the Meyer house (2649 Park Road). The Most Creative entry is the Stoner residence (1120 3rd Corso). The Clark Griswold Award goes to the Walters house (1200 11th Avenue). A Scavenger Hunt incorporating unique and fun things that can be found at each location is available again this year. Scavenger Hunt forms can be picked up at Lifetime Vision Center or Little Ted’s. Completed forms will be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate! Both Lifetime and Little Ted’s have a limited supply of special holiday 3D viewing glasses.
