JOHNSON, NE - The Johnson-Brock Eagles soared past the Sterling Jets in a home sweep on Tuesday in high school basketball. The Eagle ladies grabbed a 51-26 win, before the Johnson-Brock boys flew away to a 71-24 victory.

In the boys' contest, Johnson-Brock held a solid 41-20 lead at the break before really turning on the defense in the second half, where they held a 30-4 advantage. The Eagles turned the ball over just five times, while the Jets coughed it up 25 times. Johnson-Brock saw Brody Koehler hit for 21 points, while Casen Dalinghaus hit for 19. The combo combined to go 8/13 from 3-point land. Sterling's Brody Horstman led his squad with eight points. Johnson-Brock is now 6-0 on the season, while Sterling is 0-7.
