TECUMSEH -  Felita Brave Bull-Bredeson, 31, of Tecumseh is charged in Johnson County with violation of the sex offender registry act and assault by strangulation on Nov. 18.

A Johnson County sheriff’s deputy responded to an apartment building on Lincoln Street in Tecumseh on multiple 911 calls about a fight. The arriving deputy was told a woman confronted Brave Bull-Bredeson about her status as a sex offender and questioned her living in an apartment with three children without the manager’s permission. An arrest warrant says Brave Bull-Bredeson is accused of grabbing the woman by the throat before leaving the area.

The affidavit says Brave Bull-Bredeson did not register her residence at the apartment where she had been staying.
