Man dies in Waterloo structure fire
A man was pronounced dead after he was found inside a structure fire in Waterloo.

WATERLOO, Neb. -- A man was pronounced dead after he was found inside a structure fire in Waterloo.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said officers were sent to the area of 24900 W Center Road on Nov. 11 for a report of a structure fire.
Officials said the victim, 68-year-old Edward Safford of Waterloo, was inside the structure. Safford was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.
According to authorities, the investigation is ongoing but there are no initial signs of foul play.
