NEBRASKA CITY – An Otoe woman is charged in Otoe County with distribution of methamphetamine on Oct. 20.

An Otoe County sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Otoe regarding 26-year-old Brooklyn Proplesch and says he found a car with its driver’s door open and Proplesch by an open trunk.

In an arrest affidavit, the deputy describes a struggle to arrest Proplesch and the deputy says he used a stun gun to assist. The deputy says 1.5 grams of methamphetamine, scales and plastic bags were found.

Proplesch was earlier sentenced to 30 days in jail in Lancaster County in September for attempted possession.

In other court action, a contempt warrant has been issued for Antonio Jones, 23, of Lincoln. He is accused of a violation of the conditions of his bond that he not have contact with anyone minors under the age 18.

Lancaster County probation reports that Jones did not provide probation with current address and phone number. When a probation officer found where he was living in Lincoln, there were minor children there.

Jones is charged in Otoe County with sexual assault of a minor. Prosecutors say he lied about his age to a 13-year-old Palmyra girl he met on Snapchat.

John Wimmer, 52, of Talmage is charged in Otoe County with possession of firearm by a prohibited person.

Otoe County sheriff’s deputies say they found 10 firearms and multiple rounds of ammunition in Wimmer’s Talmage residence.
