Peru State Cross Country Squads Wrap Up Regular Season in Kansas Competition

WINFIELD, KS - On Saturday, October 21, the Peru State Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams competed in the Mid-States Classic in Winfield, KS. This is the Bobcats' last in-season meet of the year.
The Women's team placed sixth at the meet with a total 6k time of 2:35:22.75, averaging 31:04.55.
Naomi Wilson, a senior from Council Bluffs, IA, finished 37th with a time of 29:08.47.
Lydia Lang, a sophomore from Palmyra, NE, finished 41st with a time of 29:51.58th.
Emma Larson, a junior from Fremont, NE, finished 44th with a time of 30:55.6:3.
Phoebe Wilson, a sophomore from Council Bluffs, IA, finished 46th with a time of 31:21.90.
Isabella Watkins, a senior from Omaha, NE, finished 56th with a time of 34:05.17.
Madison Wittwer, a junior from Columbus, NE, finished 62nd with a time of 39:00.16.
The Men's Team placed ninth, edging out SAGU at the meet with a total 8k time of 2:24.27, averaging 33:48.50.
Gavin Smith, a junior from Omaha, NE, finished 35th with a time of 29:51.06.
Brady VanBoening, a freshman from Holdrege, NE, finished 45th with a time of 31:46.73.
Ty Brockhaus, a freshman from Lincoln, NE, finished 64th with a time of 34:54.71.
Benjamin Klemesrud, a sophomore from Newcastle, NE, finished 65th with a time of 34:59.16. Which is a seasonal best for Klemesrud.
Carson Maas, a senior from Papillion, NE, finished 125th with a season best time of 37:30.81.
Matthew Ramold, a senior from Nebraska City, NE, finished 76th with a time of 38:10.41
Brandon Kristensen, a sophomore from Wausa, NE, finished 77th with a time of 39:13.85
Austen Janssen, a sophomore from Newcastle, NE, finished 78th with a time of 40:27.48.
