CASS COUNTY - Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is planning a annular solar eclipse viewing party from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The moon will obscure portions of the sun in the annular eclipse. Southeast Nebraska will have up to a 60 percent obscuration of the sun.

Viewing glasses will be available at the museum beginning at 9 a.m. The partial eclipse will begin at 10:23 a.m. The eclipse maximum is at 11:46 a.m. and ends at 1:15 p.m.
