Peggy Marie (Blevins) McKinney, age 62 of Nebraska City died September 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  Peggy was born February 16, 1961 in Nebraska City, the daughter of Tomas and Rita (Baker) Blevins.  She lived in Nebraska City most of her life and worked as a lunch lady at the schools and had also worked as a bartender at some of the local establishments.    Peggy was an animal lover and she loved spending time with her family and gardening.  Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Guest of Nebraska City; grandchildren, Ravin, Kelly, Myli and Damien; great grandchild, Briella; sister, Kathy DeHeer of Pleasantville, IA; stepmother, Mary Blevins and stepsister, Jodi Walters, both of Nebraska City; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Bryce. 

There will be no viewing or visitations. 

A celebration of life will held at a later date.
