Update:  The body of a missing Glenwood woman was found Saturday morning.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office had been searching for 72-year-old Judy Krueger since she was seen walking near her home on Sept. 16.

A sheriff’s office press release says she was found by a community search party, but she was beyond medical care and was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

UPDATE : The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports that a missing Glenwood woman was last seen Saturday, Sept. 16, walking on a roadway near her home.

Searches in the area have been conducted, including abandoned residences, wooded and overgrown areas. Roadside areas of Levi Road and Kane road were walked.

The Iowa State Patrol conducted additional aerial searches and there was an underwater sonar search of Campbell Park Lake.

The sheriff says all efforts thus far have yielded no results.

Sheriff: “We are continuing to check into all leads and will continue to actively monitor the area.”

GLENWOOD - The Mills County Sheriff continues to search for 72-year-old Judy Krueger of Glenwood.

 

She was reported missing Sept. 16. A two-mile area around her house was searched by foot, UTV and drone operations.

The public is asked to call 911 if Krueger is seen.

The sheriff's office released a map of areas that were searched in the first day.
