Reported road rage incident leads to arrest in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. -- A La Vista man was arrested for a reported road rage incident in Omaha.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said officers were sent to the area of 204th St. and F St. around 3:30 p.m. on Monday for a report of a road rage incident.
A victim reported that a black 2012 Ford F-150 pulled up beside them and the driver allegedly started yelling threats at the victim while showing a firearm.
Officials said the suspect followed the victim for multiple miles and then left the area. The driver was reportedly identified as 40-year-old Shane Dempsey, of La Vista, and he is a convicted felon that is not allowed to have a firearm.
According to authorities, they found Dempsey at his home in La Vista on Tuesday and took him into custody.
Dempsey was arrested for terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. He was lodged at the Douglas County Department of Corrections.
