Omaha man arrested after reportedly holding woman against her will
An Omaha man was arrested on Tuesday after he reportedly held a woman against her will.

OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha man was arrested on Tuesday after he reportedly held a woman against her will.
The Nebraska State Patrol said a trooper saw a Chevrolet Equinox driving recklessly north on Highway 75, near Childs Road, at 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
Officials said the trooper did a traffic stop and the female passenger got out of the vehicle. The woman reported that she was being held against her will.
According to authorities, the woman had injuries on her face and they found a child inside of the vehicle. The driver reportedly gave the trooper a fake driver's license.
Police said the driver was 36-year-old Jose Hernandez Cruz, of Omaha. He was lodged at the Sarpy County Jail for third-degree domestic assault, false imprisonment, child abuse-no injury, willful reckless driving, and first-degree forgery.
NSP said the woman and child were taken to a nearby hospital. The child was reportedly not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
