NEBRASKA CITY - The 2023 high school football season is underway in River Country, where enrollment of boys have schools in classifications from B to Six-man.
Class B
Plattsmouth is the third smallest enrollment of boys with 184. This is 254 boys below classification-leading Hastings.
C-1
Auburn is 20th with 100 boys.
Nebraska City and Schuyler are ineligible in C1 as option teams. Schuyler has a boy’s enrollment of 243, which is 84 more than class leading Platteview.
Syracuse and Falls City are among the four lowest with 90 and 89 boys respectively.
C-2
Louisville is tied for second highest with 80 boys enrolled
D-1
Conestoga has the most boys in D-1 with 83, followed by Palmyra with 64.
Johnson-County Central is seventh with 51 boys
Weeping Water has 40.
D-2
Johnson-Brock leads the classification with 36 boys enrolled. HTRS and Lourdes have 32, and Falls City Sacred Heart has 28.
6-man
Pawnee city has 31 boys, the top of the classification.
