PAWNEE CITY – A Table Rock man is accused of a “no shoes, no shirt” violation and assaulting officers on July 28.

An arrest affidavit says Curtis Hagemeier, 34, took off his shirt and shoes before entering the courthouse in Pawnee City “an attempting to start a fight” with the county court clerk. The courthouse went into lockdown.

The affidavit says Hagemeier continued to argue with a dispatcher and several citizens he had contact with.

Sherriff Braden Lang said he was able to get Hagemeier handcuffed after using pepper spray.

The affidavit says Hagemeier kicked a state trooper while at the hospital and injured the sheriff while being seatbelted in a patrol car. Hagemeier is also accused of punching a deputy at the Johnson County Jail.

He has entered a not guilty plea and is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on Oct. 16.
