FALLS CITY  - The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports 27 arrests over two weeks ending Aug. 23.

There were five arrests due to drug enforcement, two protection order violations and one for possession of child pornography.

A sheriff’s office press release says 53-year-old Robert Reuter of Humboldt is suspected of possession of child pornography.

A probable cause affidavit says sheriff’s deputies searched a laptop computer and noted downloads on May 28. Investigators say the laptop was seized from a Humboldt residence where Reuter is the sole occupant.

The sheriff’s office obtained a night time, knock and announce warrant telling the judge that news of the investigation is spreading in Humboldt and urging swift seizure of the laptop.

 Jefferey Romines, 49, of Sabetha, Kan., and Steven Dillard, 34, of Aurora, Colo., are suspected of violation of protection orders. Dillard is also suspected of criminal mischief and criminal impersonation.

Debbie  Strout, 52, Cherokee, Okla., is suspected of possession of a controlled substance.

Also arrested on drug charges are Cassie Ingram, 36, of Atchison, Kan., Steven  Ingram, 43, Atchison, Kan, Ryan M. Bost, 27, of Falls City and Cecilya  Thompson, 29, of Elk City, Okla.

There were 11 arrests alleging driving under suspension and two on out-of-state warrants.
