OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha Police say they are investigating a robbery and an attempted robbery that reportedly appear to be related. 

Officers with the Omaha Police Department said they were called to the Walgreens on Center Street around 8:20 a.m. on Monday for a robbery in progress. 

The employees reportedly told officers that a black man in his 20s, about 5'7", wearing dark clothes, a mask and gloves entered the store and then jumped over the pharmacy counter. 

OPD said the suspect reportedly shoved two employees and tried to take medications, but let without any property. 

Around 9:30 a.m., officers said they were called to the Walgreens on N 60th St. for a robbery. 

It was reported that the suspect with the same description as the earlier robbery attempt, jumped over the counter and threatened employees. 

Police said the suspect took items from the pharmacy and left the area heading west. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
