The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for portions of Lancaster and Otoe counties until 8 p.m.

A severe thunderstorm was located three miles southwest of Bennet and moving south at 5 mph.

Locations impacted include Bennet, Palmyra, Douglas and Wagon Train State Recreation Area.

Hail and wind are the primary threats.
