NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City Creative District has scheduled an artist walk this fall to kick off the city’s newly-recognized creative district.

Artists and musicians are invited to station at local businesses in the district through the day on Saturday, Oct. 21.

The district also elected two partner representatives to its executive board, Honey Lynn Self of Self Expressions Gallery, and Donna Kruse of the Morton-James Public Library. There are also representatives of the city, economic development, Veterans Memorial Building, KHN Center for the Arts, museum association and NCTC.

The creative district received a $10,000 grant when it became one of 12 certified in the state.
