Fremont County Fair underway

SIDNEY, IA – The 2023 Fremont County Fair is underway with the theme Carnival Lights and Country Nights.
The fair includes performances by the Two County Dusters Drill Team at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 16.
The 60th cherry pie contest will be featured following awards at a 6:30 p.m. pie auction on Saturday.

Friday, July 14
8 a.m. – swine show
2 p.m – sheep show
3:30 p.m. – goat show
4:30 p.m. – bucket bottle sheep and goats
6 p.m. – Corn eating contest and sweet corn feed
6:30 p.m. – 4-H talent show
8 p.m. – music by Travis Hensley
Saturday, July 15
8 a.m – beef show
Noon – bucket bottle show
Noon – Tarkio Valley Antique Tractor Club tractor crawl
12:30 – feeder calf show
3 p.m. – poultry show
5:30 p.m. – barbecue, ice cream
5:45 p.m. – awards presentation
6:30 p.m. – 4-H cherry pie auction
8 p.m. – cornhole tournament

8 a.m. – Cowboy Church at main stage
10 a.m. – pet show
11 a.m. – shooting sports competition
