OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha Police Department is investigating two robbery incidents that happened on Monday.

A 3:18 a.m. OPD said they were called to a robbery that happened overnight at Casey's on 40th and Doge Streets.

Employees reportedly told officers that two unknown male suspects came into the store wearing hooded sweatshirts.

The suspects reportedly came to the gas station in a light colored sedan.

According to OPD, one of the suspects showed a handgun and the other demanded money.

After taking the money from the register, the suspects left east on Dodge St., according to police.

OPD said they are also investigating a robbery that happened at Westgate Bank on 179th Court, Monday around 3:19 p.m.

Bank employees reportedly told officers that a woman came into the bank and handed the teller a phone.

Police said that a man on the phone told the teller he had a gun and a bomb. He then reportedly told the teller to give the woman money.

After getting the undetermined amount of money, the woman left in a dark colored Chrysler PT Cruisers.

Investigators said they found the vehicle and woman.

Both are ongoing investigations.
