Four people killed in Cass County crash

GREENWOOD, Neb. -- Four people are dead after a two vehicle crash in eastern Nebraska.
The crash happened Tuesday at approximately 8:30 p.m. along Highway 63 about two miles east of Greenwood.
Authorities haven't said what caused the collision, but Greenwood Fire Chief Mark Sobota told NCN news partner 1011 Now that at least one person was ejected. Four people were declared dead at the scene, while a fifth person was injured and treated at the scene of the accident.
Authorities shut down a two-mile stretch of Highway 63 in both directions for several hours while they worked at the scene.
The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating, with assistance from the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
