Dock Board invests $600,000
Nebraska city leases dock property

NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City Dock Board will re-invest $600,000 in certificates of deposits at FirstBank of Nebraska at Syracuse.
The Dock Board collects $4,000 a month from rent of the public dock at the Missouri River and Steinhart Terminal. The barge, rail and storage facility is leased to Heartland Co-Op, which is responsible for property maintenance.
The board welcomed new members Doug Friedli and Lynn Heng. There are two vacancies remaining on the board, which has $1 million in its accounts.
