Rulo man sentenced to prison for meth charges

RULO, Neb. -- A 50-year-old Rulo man has been sentenced to 57 months in prison for meth charges.
The U.S. Attorney said that Michael Dean was sentenced on June 28, in federal court in Omaha for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Dean was sentenced to 57 months in prison, and was also ordered to serve two years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
Court documents said that law enforcement executed a search warrant on Deans residence and vehicle in Rulo on May 28, 2021.
Authorities said that while executing the search warrant, they found 56 grams of meth as well as a small amount of cocaine, MDMA pills, and indicia of drug trafficking.
This case was investigated by the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office.
